The Palestinians: A Social & Cultural
History
Step into the lives behind the news as we meet
the Palestinian people in a series of slide shows. See them at home
and hear about their everyday lives. Through their art, poetry, books,
folklore, architecture and famous embroidered
dresses explore lifestyles ancient and modern and a
delectable cuisine. Recipes will be provided! Come
and meet
the Palestinians.
Mondays April 8th to 29th. 10:00am -11:30am or
7:00pm - 8:30pm. 4 classes/$59. Brought to you by Recreation Oak Bay at
the Monterey Centre in Oak Bay, next to the Oak Bay library. Phone the
