A major agribusiness corporation is threatening to sue SumOfUs unless we stop our campaign to save the bees. Will you chip in CA$60 for our legal defense -- and to keep fighting to save the bees?

Our campaign to save the bees is winning one victory after another.
Major corporate retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s have pledged to stop selling bee-killing pesticides. The EU has enacted a moratorium, and governments in Canada and the U.S. are taking action as well.
Now a contractor for Bayer -- one of the biggest producers of bee-killing pesticides -- is threatening to sue SumOfUs if we don’t back off.
We refuse to be intimidated--but despite our requests, they’re refusing to stop threatening a lawsuit. So we have to be ready for a major legal battle.
Will you chip in to make sure we have the resources to defend ourselves legally and keep saving the bees?

Since we received the letter threatening legal action, we’ve been inspired by the response of SumOfUs members.
We’ve heard from people around the world urging us not to back down -- and so far over 12,000 members have donated for our legal defense and to keep fighting for the bees.
This is fantastic -- but a legal battle against the deep pockets of a gigantic multi-national corporation like Bayer will cost a lot more than that.
Corporations think they can threaten people and organizations to keep them quiet. SumOfUs has been on the receiving end of more and more legal threats, as our work unsettles more and more CEOs. By rallying together, we are showing Bayer and other companies that they can’t simply sue us into silence.
After discussing the threats, we’ve committed not to back down. But when we made that decision, we were counting on you, our members, to stand by us. I know you won’t let us down.
