Dont panic – the NEB just approved Kinder Morgan

Don’t panic – the NEB just approved Kinder Morgan r1 ... r33

But with your help, this pipeline is never going to be built

Dear Paov,

We’ve known this day would come since the National Energy Board (NEB) started its review of the Kinder Morgan pipeline.

The NEB was designed to approve pipelines. It’s what they do. That’s why we boycotted the process.

This approval doesn’t change a thing. British Columbians have made it crystal clear that this pipeline has no place in our communities.

Take a look at our new map below that shows testimony from all the municipalities and First Nations who brought their concerns to the NEB during the hearings in January:

During the federal election campaign, Justin Trudeau said, “governments grant permits, but communities grant permission.”

Apparently, he hasn’t heard us yet. He’s sending a panel of advisors down the Kinder Morgan pipeline and tanker route to gauge local opposition.

Are you ready to speak up for the coast and the climate?

Meetings are coming to our communities and we need to demonstrate the wall of opposition this project meets in British Columbia. The federal government wants to use this process to pretend they’ve got support for their dirty tar sands pipeline.

We need you to show them it’s never going to happen.

This June and September, be ready to speak out in your community and please tell your friends to join you. We’re going to need everyone we can muster to kill this risky project.

For the climate,
